Children's Ministry
About the Ministry
Overview
At Siloam, we believe that children are a vital part of the church today — not just the church of tomorrow. Each Sunday, children begin worship alongside their families in the main sanctuary. Midway through the service, they are brought forward for a special prayer and commissioning before being led to Children’s Church, where their worship experience continues in an interactive and nurturing setting.
The Children’s Ministry includes:
Children’s Church (ages 4–10) – A structured time of worship, Bible teaching, and creative activities that reinforce biblical truths and character development.
Nursery – A safe and peaceful space for parents with infants and toddlers. The nursery is fully equipped and located next to the sanctuary, with large windows and live audio feed, allowing parents to stay connected to the service.
What We Do
Teach children the foundations of faith through age-appropriate Bible lessons
Incorporate music, dance, crafts, and storytelling into worship and teaching
Lead the children’s choir for performances during holidays and special events
Foster friendships and teamwork through fun games and group activities
Offer loving guidance from trained ministry leaders and assistants
Provide a fully stocked nursery for parents of babies and toddlers during service
Mission
To plant seeds of faith in the hearts of children by teaching them to love God, know His Word, and live by His truth—equipping them to grow into strong, Spirit-led disciples of Christ.
