Prayer Points for Children

Declaring God’s Word Over Our Children (any age)

Father God, may your word prevail over our children (can insert names) as we lift them up and pray these declarations over them:
  • Great is their peace and undisturbed composure, inside and outside of the home.
  • They are obedient, swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to wrath.
  • Desiring the pure milk of God’s, they grow thereby and are led into holy conduct, and cursing comes not out of their mouth.
  • They are thankful and content with what they have, remembering to do right and share generously with others. Therefore, their conduct is without covetousness or envy.
  • Our children grow daily in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and abound more and more in how they should live to please you, Lord.
  • They submit to their elders, and to one another, being clothed with humility.
  • They do not conform to the things of the flesh, or excessively love the things of the world, casting off its yoke.
  • They know to cast their cares upon you, Father, for you care for them.
  • They keep your word in their thoughts which floods them with peace,
  • Your love is being perfected in them, not having a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.
  • Father, you have saved, redeemed, and called them with a holy calling, not according to works, but according to your own purpose.
  • Jesus keeps them safe and the wicked one does not touch them.
  • They are delivered from every evil work and do not imitate what is evil, but what is good.
  • They know your voice Lord and do not follow the voice of harmful strangers (both online and in person).
  • They abide safely with others who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
  • Give your Angel special charge to accompany, defend, preserve, and protect them, day, and night.
  • They walk in the light as you are in the light, cleansing their hands and purifying their hearts, they follow after righteousness, faith, love, and peace.
  • They have a good conscience and desire to live honorably, having favor and high esteem with God and men.
  • Father God, we seek and accept your counsel and wisdom concerning the children you have assigned to our care.
  • We release them now into your strong and capable hands and trust you to accomplish your will for their lives.  In Jesus Name.
  • Amen!
