Prayer to Renounce Anger and Violence

Heavenly Father,

I come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, renouncing uncontrolled anger, violence, and aggression in my life. Your Word instructs us to "let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice" (Ephesians 4:31 NKJV).

Lord, I repent of any bitterness, wrath, and anger that I have harbored in my heart. I choose to turn away from violence and aggression and instead seek to live in peace and self-control, as You have called me to do.

I ask for Your forgiveness and cleansing from all forms of anger and violence. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit, that I may walk in love, patience, and gentleness. Help me to respond with grace and compassion in all situations, reflecting Your peace and love to those around me.

Thank You, Father, for Your grace and mercy. Empower me to live a life of peace and self-control, honoring You in all my actions and reactions.

In Jesus' name, I pray.
