Prayer to Renounce Greed and Materialism

Heavenly Father,

I come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, renouncing greed and materialism in my life. Your Word warns us that "the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil" (1 Timothy 6:10 NKJV).

Lord, I repent of placing wealth and material possessions as the primary focus of my life. I choose instead to seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness. I acknowledge that true fulfillment and contentment come from You alone.

I release my attachment to material things and the pursuit of wealth. Help me to be a good steward of the resources You have entrusted to me and to use them for Your glory and the good of others.

Thank You, Father, for providing for my needs and for the abundant blessings You have given me. Empower me with Your Holy Spirit to live a life of generosity, contentment, and devotion to You.
