Prayer for Missions & Outreaches
Jesus Proclaims His Mission and Identity
These scriptures clearly show Jesus declaring His mission to bring salvation, heal, and guide humanity, as well as His divine identity as the Son of God.
1. Luke 4:18-19 - "The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed; to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord."
2. John 4:25-26 - "The woman said to Him, 'I know that Messiah is coming' (who is called Christ). 'When He comes, He will tell us all things.' Jesus said to her, 'I who speak to you am He.'"
3. John 6:35 - "And Jesus said to them, 'I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.'"
4. John 8:12 - "Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, 'I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.'"
5. John 10:7-11 "Then Jesus said to them again, 'Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. All who ever came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep.'"

11. John 8:58 - "Jesus said to them, 'Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.'"

Prayer for Global Missions
Heavenly Father,
We come before you with hearts full of gratitude for the privilege of participating in your global mission. You have called us to go and make disciples of all nations, and we are humbled by the opportunity to share your love and truth with people around the world.
Lord, we pray for the advancement of your kingdom in every corner of the earth. We ask for your protection and provision for missionaries who are serving in remote and challenging areas. Strengthen them with your Spirit, and empower them to boldly proclaim your gospel.
Father, we lift up the unreached people groups who have never heard the name of Jesus. Open doors for your word to be preached among them, and send laborers into the harvest field to share your love with those who have yet to experience it.
We pray for the local churches and ministries that are partnering with missionaries to spread your kingdom. Grant them wisdom, resources, and unity as they work together to fulfill your great commission.
Lord, we ask for revival and spiritual awakening in every nation. Pour out your Spirit in power, and draw people to yourself in repentance and faith. May your name be glorified among all peoples, and may your kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven.
We commit ourselves afresh to your mission, Lord. Use us as vessels of your grace and instruments of your peace. May we be willing to go wherever you lead us and to do whatever you ask of us, knowing that you are with us always, even to the end of the age.

Prayer for Missionaries
Heavenly Father,
We come before you with hearts full of gratitude for the missionaries you have called and sent out into the world. We thank you for their dedication, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to sharing the gospel with those who have not yet heard it.
Lord, we pray for protection over missionaries as they go about their work in often dangerous and challenging environments. Surround them with your angels, and shield them from harm and danger. Give them wisdom and discernment to navigate difficult situations, and fill them with your peace that surpasses all understanding.
Father, we ask for provision for missionaries and their families. Meet their every need according to your riches in glory, and supply them with all that they require to fulfill the calling you have placed on their lives. Provide for their financial, emotional, and spiritual needs, and give them the strength to persevere in the face of trials and hardships.
We pray for the health and well-being of missionaries and their families. Strengthen their bodies, minds, and spirits, and protect them from sickness, disease, and injury. Grant them rest and rejuvenation, and help them to find balance in their lives as they serve you faithfully.
Lord, we lift up the ministries of missionaries and ask for fruitfulness and effectiveness in their work. Open doors for them to share the gospel, and soften the hearts of those who hear it. Bring salvation, healing, and transformation to the lives of those who come into contact with your word through the ministry of missionaries.
Finally, we pray for encouragement and support for missionaries. Surround them with a community of believers who will uplift and encourage them in their journey. Help them to feel connected and supported, even when they are far from home. And may they always remember that they are not alone, but are surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses who are cheering them on in their race.
